New Year, New Changes....

It is a new year and with all new years, there is plenty of change.  People are working on their new years resolutions.  Businesses have new budgets.  Changes are happening in the Political arenas.  No different for the ARBP.  Hopefully the changes are for the best.  But only time will tell. Paul Lefebvre: Paul Lefebvre has taken a position as Real Software.  Congrats Paul.  We know you will do a great job as the Developer Evangelist. Board of Directors: Here is a quick recap of what has happened with the Board of Directors.  Geoff and Paul both didnt want to take board positions when they both work for Real Software.  They didnt want the illusion of impropriety.  So Geoff Perlman has stepped down from the board. Kevin Cully (Cully Technologies) has taken the position on the board.  The next big question is the position of the President.  Paul Lefebvre has stepped down as President.  He didnt want any false illusions.  The board would love to thank Paul for his hard work over his tenure as President.  So myself (Scott Boss of nocturnal coding monkeys) has stepped up as President.  We will see how well Scott does compared to Bob and Paul. Final change is the monthly board meeting is going to be on the third thursday of each month at 8pm ET. Personal note: I will try to post the post Board of Director's meeting notes quicker ofter the meetings.  No promises as I am still working on learning the website setup. -scott
